A Brilliant Idea!

Because I've been a photographer for a long time, I know exactly what I want. Being able to invent things on the fly is a really good trait or any good photographer. I don't often get a chance to shoot sports so whenever I can, I will bring a long my DSLR camera and take pictures. Mostly for my social media channels

One of the things I've really been struggling with shooting these tournaments is that I have a 24mm wide angle lens and to maximize the view, I try and get as low to the ground as possible. If I place my camera on the ground, I can't really see through the eye piece and my camera doesn't have a flip out screen like the modern ones do. So I bought door stop, drilled a hole in it and use a screw with the same tripod thread and it worked like a charm. With the door stop, I could get the perfect angle to capture their feet and the net in the same shot. This is one of my favorites from shooting these high school tournaments.
