About Me

I work as a Junior Audio Visual Production Technician at the House of Commons. Responsible for the live television multi-camera direction during broadcasts of House of Commons proceedings and House or Senate Committee proceedings through automated technology.

Previously ENG and in-studio camera operation for noon, 5 p.m. local, 6 p.m and late CTV news broadcasts. CTV National and CTV News Channel when required. VTR ingesting and non-linear editing for all broadcasts including prompter shifts. Shoot and edit reports based on reporter scripts and interview sound clips including voice overs in an efficient, timely manner meeting tight broadcast deadlines. ENG live remotes for all news broadcasts using Dejero Engo transmitters. Trained as a Technical Production Coordinator using Ross Overdrive for the automated production control of the late-night CTV News broadcast. Also provided press pool coverage for Justin Trudeau's appearance at the Public Order Emergency Commission.

While obtaining my formal education in Television Broadcasting, I found my background with photography, camera gear and audio equipment to be very beneficial to my studies in video production. 

​​As a Television Producer with Eastlink TV, I am able to utilize my skills in audio editing, video production, photography, and technical support in addition to managing and developing a staff of volunteers for each production. I have been able to coordinate and implement all technical elements on location and studio productions including pre-production planning, crew training, technical set up and tear down.
