Canadian Federal Election

A Canadian Federal Election. We have been assigned the riding of Carleton to cover Pierre Poilievre. In this election, Trudeau is hoping for a majority government. His opposition is Erin O'Toole leader of the Conservative Party followed by Jagmeet Singh of the NDP, Yves-François Blanchet of the Bloc Québécois, Annamie Paul for the Green Party and lastly, Maxime Bernier of the People's Party. Should be an interesting night.

Close to 11PM, it was announced that Pierre Poilievre had won his riding and our contact with his office agreed to meet with us for an interview. The bar we were in asked us to pack up and leave as they were having a private party. So we ended up waiting outside for about an hour for our interview before we noticed him already inside the venue. He somehow snuck in using another entrance so he could avoid us and we waited for another hour thinking he might come out and talk to us. Nope. He stayed inside and we got ignored.
