CBC The Goods

This week I'm in the studio where they are recording episodes for the first season of The Goods in Studio 43, Episode 91 and 92. Its a Canadian daytime lifestyle talk show and marked the return of Steven Sabados. Steven previously had a successful show on CBC with partner Chris Hyndman called Steve and Chris.

The series came to an abrupt, tragic end following the eighth season. On August 3, 2015, 49-year-old Chris Hyndman passed away suddenly near the Toronto apartment he shared with Sabados. Police confirmed no foul play, and his family later indicated that he had tragically fallen from their penthouse balcony while sleepwalking.

CBC immediately pulled the show from its schedules out of respect. A few weeks later on August 21, 2015, Steven Sabados released a heartfelt statement indicating that it was impossible for him to imagine continuing the show without his partner by his side, resulting in the official cancellation of Steven and Chris.

Here's a clip from the YouTube channel of Steven Sabados announcing the premiere in October 2016.
