With years of experience and a knack for finding trophy walleye, Dicki helps us navigate the ever-changing ice conditions and put our gear to the test.

S08 E02 Mattagami Lake

Paul Ethier and Jeff Shippam make their way to the legendary Mattagami Lake for some classic spring walleye action. With competitive tournaments on pause this season, the guys revisit their favourite early-season hotspots—areas they’d normally fish under pressure—now with time to explore, adapt, and enjoy the day.

Deep in the Northern Ontario backcountry, Paul and Perry push their way through dense forest trails and over a series of stubborn beaver dams with the UTV to reach a remote, untouched lake. The grind pays off in a big way as the walleye action erupts the moment they hit the water.

S09 E02 Pierre Lake

It's an early-season adventure as Paul and Perry make the trek north of Cochrane to Pierre Lake in search of walleye. Having discovered this lake a few years earlier, we're back hoping to reconnect with the fish that made this place memorable. With limited experience on the lake, finding the walleye takes some time, a little patience and plenty of exploring.
