THE GAME CHANGER

As I did more and more live on location shots I realized the light I was using were sadly inadequate. I wanted to make use of the Sun as a backlight source but it was impossible to balance the lights because mine were not strong enough. I struggled day to day trying to make do with what I had but I was getting more frustrated because I couldn't get what I wanted and more importantly, what I knew was possible. Yes we made it to air live on the six o'clock news but I knew I could do better but not with the equipment I had.

So after some research online, I came across an LED light that was 300 watts. So much brighter than what I was using AND it would work via a normal 110 plus or V-Mount camera batteries. SAY WHAT?

It became my obsession. Time permitting, I was determined to make the shot look the best I could using whatever lights I could find.

I was getting so proud of my setup, one night I filmed the setup with a GoPro. One thing I've noticed about putting in all this extra effort - people notice.
